For more than 15 years I’ve been working in several Advertising Agencies and Design Offices as an Interactive Art Director and UI/UX Strategist. Today, I’m the Head of Experience Design and User Studies at Telecine, a joint venture between Grupo Globo and the major Hollywood Studios. In 2012 I also concluded my Master’s degree in Design at ESDI/UERJ (Brazil) and IADE Creative University (Portugal). Whitney Cubbison | Communications Director for Western Europe | Microsoft

Whitney Cubbison is an American communications professional living in Paris. She was born and raised in Texas and then moved to California to pursue a French degree at UCLA, starting a decade-long stay in California. She began her career as a technology consultant for PricewaterhouseCoopers in San Francisco (because they had an office in France… which seemed like a good enough reason at the time). She quickly realized she liked technology but wanted to spend her time talking about it, rather than building it, so she transitioned into public relations. She worked for Applied Communications and Bite Communications in San Francisco, both high tech PR agencies, at the height of the technology boom and during the lean years following the technology bust. She represented clients including HP, Sun Microsystems, Cisco, Oracle and many more in enterprise technology. Whitney moved to Seattle, Washington in 2005 and began working in PR for Microsoft’s Online Services Division. In 2009, she led the global PR launch of Bing, Microsoft’s search engine, and a few months later, she fulfilled her dream to get to France by taking the job as Executive Communications Director for Microsoft International. She has since held numerous roles in communications for Microsoft in Europe, the Middle East and Africa and currently serves as Microsoft’s Communications Director for Western Europe, covering internal and external communications across 14 countries.

Neil Foster | Vice President – Creative Consultancy EMEA APAC | Guinness World Records (GWR)

Neil has spent the last 25 years working in PR and Advertising agencies in London, Sydney and Melbourne. He joined Guinness World Records (GWR) in 2019 to help drive the creative services and records marketing consultancy forward. GWR now provides record breaking solutions for brands and agencies running communications campaigns and employee engagement and development programmes through world-class record-breaking attempts and events. Prior to joining Guinness World Records, Neil led the Brand Marketing team at Burson Marsteller London. This followed a five-year stint as Managing Director of a group of PR brands housed within an independent integrated marketing agency and launching the Earned Agency. He helped to develop the Bell Pottinger Group’s digital offering working across group companies to deliver integrated and digital solutions to group companies in consumer, finance, crisis and issues, public affairs and sports marketing.
