Blend Commerce has been named CRO Agency of the Year at the European Agency Awards 2026, announced at the awards ceremony in Ibiza on 22 September.

For our team, the award carries particular weight because it recognises the part of our work that matters most: producing measurable commercial improvements for Shopify brands and building a delivery process that can do so consistently.

The judges highlighted our discipline, focus and commitment to measurable outcomes. They also recognised what they described as “a genuinely repeatable approach that consistently drives value for clients”. That word, repeatable, gets to the heart of the work behind the scenes.

A Specialist Shopify CRO Agency

Blend Commerce is a specialist Shopify CRO agency that helps established Shopify and Shopify Plus brands generate more revenue from the traffic they already have.

Our work brings CRO strategy, behavioural research, UX/UI design, Shopify development, A/B testing and quality assurance into one in-house team. This means we can take an opportunity from evidence through to implementation, measurement and rollout, rather than leaving a client with a list of recommendations to manage alone.

We have deliberately built Blend around senior specialists. Clients work with strategists, designers, developers and project managers who understand how commercial goals, customer behaviour and Shopify’s technical reality affect one another.

The Work Behind Our Award Entry

Our European Agency Awards entry covered work completed between February 2025 and June 2026. It included sustained performance across retained client accounts, 159 recorded A/B tests and a structured library of 89 test examples and learnings.

Client confidentiality was important throughout the entry and remains important here. We have therefore removed names, industries, markets, currencies and test details that could identify an individual brand.

At portfolio level, all six retained accounts included in our year-on-year analysis increased online revenue. The median uplift was approximately 25%, with results ranging from low double-digit growth to more than 150%. These were actual platform-reported results across a consistent 12-month comparison period, not a sum of forecasts or projected opportunities.

The entry also contained individual experiments that produced substantial estimated monthly revenue opportunities. We reported those estimates separately from realised year-on-year revenue, and we kept forward-looking revenue modelling in a third category. Maintaining those distinctions helps clients understand what has happened, what an experiment indicates and what may be possible after future implementation.

How Blend Makes CRO Repeatable

Our work usually begins with a detailed CRO audit. We combine Shopify Analytics and GA4 with heatmaps, session recordings, UX review and competitor analysis. A typical audit produces more than 40 evidence-backed recommendations, each with a defined problem, hypothesis and expected commercial effect.

Recommendations are scoped with our development team before being ranked using PECTI: Proof, Ease, Cost, Time and Impact. This gives the client a prioritised roadmap that reflects evidence, technical feasibility and delivery capacity. You can read more about how Blend approaches Shopify CRO strategy and implementation.

When an opportunity should be tested, we agree the primary metric and supporting measures before launch. We review the result alongside traffic quality, pricing, promotions, product mix and any tracking limitations. Statistical confidence matters, but a result must also be commercially meaningful and practical to implement.

The same discipline continues after analysis. Winning changes move through design review, development review, QA, client sign-off and post-launch checks. Losing or inconclusive tests are documented too. Preventing an unproven change from being rolled out can protect just as much value as identifying a winner.

Our public A/B testing library shares the problems tested, the changes made and what the evidence showed, including experiments that did not produce the expected outcome.

What Entering and Winning Means to Our Team

Preparing the entry gave us a reason to step back from day-to-day delivery and examine the system behind our results. It brought together evidence from strategy, design, development, project management and QA, showing how much of the outcome depends on people doing careful work at every stage.

“Entering the European Agency Awards made us look closely at the system behind our client results. Winning means a great deal because it recognises the care our team puts into the work, from the first piece of research to the final post-launch check. It tells our team that disciplined, commercially accountable CRO is worth doing properly.”

Kelly Cruickshank, Managing Director, Blend Commerce

The award also belongs to our clients. CRO requires openness, patience and a willingness to test an idea without assuming the answer in advance. Our clients trust us with their data, customer journeys and commercial priorities. That partnership makes rigorous experimentation possible.

Recognition We Will Put Back Into the Work

Being named European CRO Agency of the Year is a proud moment for Blend. It gives our remote team, working across several countries and time zones, a shared marker of the quality they have built together.

It also gives prospective clients independent evidence that our approach has been reviewed beyond our own reporting. Awards cannot decide whether an agency is the right fit for a brand, but they can provide a useful signal when the judges have assessed the results, methodology and operating discipline behind the work.

We will use this recognition in the same way we use a good experiment result: as evidence that the process is working, followed by careful attention to what we improve next.

We also want the lessons from our work to be useful to brands before they ever become clients. One eCommerce brand that had considered working with Blend instead began by exploring our free A/B Test Library and implementing some of the ideas themselves. They later reported a 61% increase in subscription sign-ups and a 14% improvement in their overall store conversion rate.

“The amount of practical, actionable information they share in their emails alone is remarkable,” they told us.
