We have two wins to celebrate from the European Agency Awards 2026. LOCOMOTIVE was named Integrated Agency of the Year, and our work with Irish skincare brand VOYA took home Best Social Media Campaign.
One award recognises how we work. The other proves what that way of working delivers. Together, they tell the same story: when brand, creative, media, and data are built as one system, growth follows.
Integrated Agency of the Year
Plenty of teams call themselves integrated. What the judges saw in LOCOMOTIVE was integration by design, not by org chart.
Following our acquisition of Ireland-based IMS Marketing, we restructured into a single global team, across Ireland, the UK, Spain, Portugal and the US. Search, paid media, paid social, AI, content and analytics now sit inside one delivery model. Every engagement starts the same way: deep discovery, audits across disciplines, and a roadmap built around the client’s business goals rather than individual channel metrics.
Continuity is a big part of why that model works. Much of our team has been with LOCOMOTIVE for years, and many of our clients have grown with us for close to a decade. Long tenure builds the kind of institutional knowledge that shows up directly in client results.
The work backed it up. For Buttimer Engineering, we rebuilt the brand, website, paid creative, and ABM infrastructure to reposition an Irish engineering firm as a credible global player, with every channel designed to work as one. The campaign beat its targets within weeks of launch and opened up significant new pipeline.
For AVCOM, we built a lead generation system from scratch across content, email, Meta, LinkedIn, and CRM, translating the impact of a live immersive experience into qualified digital demand. The clearest lesson: strong thought leadership content outperformed paid lead gen at a fraction of the budget. Creative quality beat ad spend.
Best Social Media Campaign: VOYA
VOYA is an Irish luxury organic skincare brand built on seaweed based ingredients. When we started working together, VOYA had loyal customers in Ireland and the UK, but its Meta account was working against it. Campaigns were optimising for traffic instead of sales, attribution was flattering the numbers, and spend was leaking into low intent placements. The US market was largely untapped.
Our hypothesis was simple: rebuild paid social around brand storytelling and high intent creative, and it would do more than convert on platform. It would create demand everywhere else.
We started with the data. We moved every campaign to Sales objectives and tightened attribution so VOYA could see what was genuinely driving purchases. Reported performance dipped at first, which took clear communication and confidence in the strategy. The quality of traffic told a different story, and by the busiest season of the year the new approach was comfortably ahead.
Then we rebuilt the creative. A competitor and creative gap analysis shaped four pillars: ingredient led storytelling, social proof, seasonal gifting, and video formats built for the feed. Every concept was tested in two design directions, and the learnings fed straight into VOYA’s photography and design briefs. A year-long campaign calendar aligned Ireland, the UK, and the US, with market specific creative and offers for moments like Mother’s Day, Black Friday, and Christmas gifting.
The results followed across all three markets: stronger returns in Ireland and the UK, a genuine breakthrough in the US, and a record Black Friday driven almost entirely by LOCOMOTIVE created assets. The halo reached well beyond Meta, lifting brand search, website traffic, and newsletter sign ups.
What connects the two wins
VOYA is a social media award, but it was never just a social media campaign. It worked because brand, creative, analytics, and media were planned as one system before a single euro was spent. That is exactly what Integrated Agency of the Year recognises.
What if the smartest growth lever isn’t another channel, but getting the channels you already have to work together? That question drives everything we do.
Thank you to the European Agency Awards judges, to the team at VOYA for trusting us with their brand, and to every client who has grown with us. Most of all, thank you to the LOCOMOTIVE team. These awards are yours!
