Blend Commerce Named CRO Agency of the Year 2025. Here is their story.

We’re ending the year on a high: Blend Commerce has been awarded CRO Agency of the Year 2025 at the European Agency Awards.

The recognition comes at a time when more brands are realising how much steady optimisation shapes long-term growth. Our team has spent the past year digging into data, tightening user journeys, and pushing for decisions that actually improve performance. This award feels like a nod to that work and to the brands who trust us to help them grow.

What This Award Means to Us

We’re a team of 11, and while some might see that as a limitation, staying small allows us to keep the work sharp, the thinking senior, and stay close to the brands we support. So, earning a European-wide award as a group this size feels especially meaningful, as it reflects the way we choose to operate and the standards we hold ourselves to every day.

This award represents the unglamorous work that actually makes CRO effective:

  • The audits where we dig until we find the things others miss
  • The hypotheses we throw out early so budgets aren’t wasted

The Work Behind the Win

Our work isn’t held up by a handful of clever tests, but is the result of a system we apply the same way, every time. Before we design a single experiment, we dig into the foundations: real user behaviour, analytics trends, friction points, and how the site stacks up against UX standards. That deep dive becomes a full CRO Audit that lays out the problem areas with evidence. 

Once we know what’s actually blocking growth, we sort the priorities in a way that removes guesswork. We rank ideas using our PECTI Framework, which helps us prioritise tasks by what matters most to the business: how strong the proof is, how easy it is to action, the cost, the timeline, and the impact it will have.

On the execution side, nothing moves through the system without checks. Strategy, design, and development all go through several rounds of review, which involve teammates challenging each other’s thinking, code being inspected line by line, and final approval from our Head of Design & Development. 

Blend’s QAQC Process

Our A/B testing approach is simple: every test must have a clear reason to exist, be technically correct, and be measured properly. We look at how different groups behave – mobile vs desktop, new vs returning visitors, different traffic sources – and judge results on what the data actually tells us, not what we hope it will say. That level of discipline is what makes the outcomes consistent rather than lucky.

To earn this recognition, we presented work from a range of high-intent and high-consideration eCommerce brands, all showing what structured optimisation can do:

  • +93.6% Conversion Rate for a sports nutrition brand, even during a period where traffic dropped by 100,000 sessions
  • +104% increase in Subscription selection from a single benefit-focused A/B/C test
  • +71% improvement in overall Conversion Rate for a high-consideration DTC brand by reshaping how customers interact with real customer photos
  • +682 additional monthly orders and +$57,843 revenue for a home wellness brand by making mobile search easier to access

With average uplift across clients:
