MA Family has been shortlisted for PR Agency of the Year at the European Agency Awards 2026, with our entry recognised across the Technology, Corporate and Financial categories. We see our mission as supporting European tech challengers in establishing themselves on the global stage.

Our two primary campaigns focused on Dwelly, a vertical AI company that raised a $93 million Series A round in February, and on the launch of BUSY Bar, a brand-new productivity device from the creators of Flipper Zero.

Who We Are

We run PR and comms for a tight portfolio of category-defining companies across AI, fintech, proptech, hardware, and services. Rather than servicing dozens of accounts thinly, we work with a focused roster of clients at a time, so each one gets our partners and senior operators on the story instead of a junior handoff. Our clients range from early-stage startups to established names like JetBrains, Miro and Flipper Zero.

We help build the right narrative and design the messaging architecture, augment the brand and define the positioning. We handle founder and executive media training, journalist relations, content marketing, and business development events. Beyond earned media, we invest in the emerging surface area such as first-party visibility and citation in AI answers, owned media and data products, and technical SEO that feeds both search and AI discovery.

We build durable journalist relationships and create milestone-driven narratives like launches, funding, product drops, and also leverage crisis and regulatory moments to keep a company in the conversation over years. We’ve secured coverage in The New York Times, Bloomberg, Forbes, Fortune, TechCrunch and The Verge, put founders on stage at Web Summit, and secured a spot on The Joe Rogan Experience. We’ve generated over 2,000 media placements, served more than 150 tech companies across 20 countries, and helped clients raise over $2 billion during active engagements.

The Work Behind the Shortlist

Our Dwelly campaign is a good example of what we try to do for every client: turn a single announcement into something that works on several levels at once. Dwelly is a vertical AI company, founded by former Uber and Gett executives, that builds an AI operating system for UK letting agencies. When the company closed a $93 million funding round, we timed the announcement to land alongside another milestone: Dwelly’s rise into the UK’s top 15 estate agencies. We secured a Fortune exclusive as the centrepiece, supported by coverage in Sifted, EU Startups, The Negotiator and other European and property outlets. The campaign introduced Dwelly to new investors, signaled credibility to potential acquisition targets and put the brand in front of customers across the UK.

Our second major campaign listed was the 2025 launch of BUSY Bar, the new product from the team behind Flipper Zero. We’ve led communications for Flipper Zero for three years now, and the relationship has produced plenty of highlights along the way, including top-tier product reviews, a Fast Company Innovation by Design award, and support through a public dispute with the Canadian government. A TechCrunch feature we secured even caught Raspberry Pi’s attention and led to a co-developed Video Game Module for the device. The BUSY Bar unveiling carried that momentum forward, with strong coverage in The Verge, Gizmodo and other publications.

What This Shortlisting Means to Us

“We started MA Family so founders could work directly with experienced partners, with relationships coming first,” said Anastasia Loureiro, Managing Partner and CEO.” Being recognised alongside agencies many times our size tells us this approach works.”

Yury Molodtsov, Partner and COO, added: “We help ambitious founders earn the attention their companies deserve, so the best products win the narrative game. We make category-defining tech startups impossible to ignore and turn complex products into stories that travel across markets. It was fun looking over what we did this year, and exciting to be nominated”.

Looking Ahead

We’re proud to be finalists for PR Agency of the Year at this year’s European Agency Awards and look forward to celebrating alongside agencies from across Europe when the winners are announced. Whatever the outcome, we’ll keep doing what we’ve always done: working closely with founders and helping them tell stories that move their businesses forward.
