Some news we’re incredibly proud to share: WIRO has been shortlisted in three categories at the European Agency Awards 2026:
- Dev Agency of the Year
- CRO Agency of the Year
- Best Small Agency of the Year (Up to 25 Employees)
Being recognised and shortlisted across all three categories means a great deal to us. It reflects the breadth of what we do at WIRO: combining technical Shopify expertise, conversion-focused thinking and a highly experienced team to help ambitious eCommerce brands grow.
We believe the best eCommerce experiences happen when development, design and optimisation work together. Every store we build, improve or migrate has to do more than look good or function correctly. It has to create a better customer experience and deliver measurable results.
Here is a look at who we are, some of the work behind our nominations and what being shortlisted means to our team.

Who We Are
WIRO is a specialist Shopify and eCommerce growth agency working with ambitious brands that want to scale through better digital experiences.
We partner with businesses across strategy, Shopify development, UX/UI, conversion rate optimisation, technical audits, migrations and ongoing growth. Our work is built around a simple idea: eCommerce performance should not be treated as a series of isolated projects.
A beautiful website that is difficult to manage will eventually create problems. A technically impressive build that does not convert is not delivering enough value. And a CRO programme that ignores the underlying customer experience can only go so far.
That is why our teams work closely across disciplines to identify what is holding a brand back and build solutions around real commercial goals.
As a team of fewer than 25 people, we combine the flexibility and close collaboration of a small agency with the specialist expertise needed to tackle complex Shopify and Shopify Plus projects.
The Work Behind Our Shortlist
Dev Agency of the Year
Our nomination for Dev Agency of the Year reflects the technical work WIRO delivers for growing eCommerce brands, particularly those facing the challenge of scaling on outdated platforms, managing complex functionality or creating better foundations for growth.
One example is our work with Doddl, the award-winning baby and toddler cutlery brand. As the business grew, managing its existing dual-platform eCommerce setup became increasingly complex. WIRO partnered with Doddl on a migration to Shopify Plus, helping create a more scalable and efficient platform for the next stage of its growth.
The results included a 19% increase in revenue and a 22.1% increase in average order value.
Our development work is not simply about moving brands from one platform to another. It is about understanding what the business needs from its technology, reducing unnecessary complexity and creating an eCommerce experience that can support future growth.
We also work with brands requiring more sophisticated Shopify functionality. For one project, WIRO developed a custom Shopify Function extension to support complex discount logic, replacing limitations in the existing approach with a solution designed around the client’s requirements.
These projects represent the kind of development work we want to be known for: technically strong, commercially focused and built around the real needs of the brand.
CRO Agency of the Year
Our CRO work starts with the belief that conversion is rarely solved by one big idea.
Meaningful growth often comes from understanding the details of how customers experience a website: where they hesitate, what creates friction, which information is missing and where the journey can be made clearer and easier.
That thinking has helped us deliver measurable results across a range of Shopify brands.
For Kick Game, our work contributed to a 116% increase in conversion.
For Foxhole Spirits, a more focused approach to the customer journey helped deliver a 36% increase in sales, a 27% increase in conversion rate and a 19% increase in average order value.
For Doddl, alongside the Shopify migration and platform improvements, the business saw its average order value increase by 22.1%.
Our approach combines research, UX, data and experimentation. We focus on identifying the changes most likely to have a meaningful commercial impact.
Sometimes that means improving a product page. Sometimes it means rethinking navigation, reducing friction at checkout or making the value proposition clearer. The answer is different for every brand, which is why we believe CRO should be rooted in evidence rather than assumptions.
Being shortlisted for CRO Agency of the Year recognises not just the results themselves, but the process behind them: bringing strategy, design, development and optimisation together to create experiences that perform better over time.
Best Small Agency of the Year
Our third shortlist, for Best Small Agency of the Year, is perhaps the one that means the most to the entire WIRO team.
Growth has always been about more than getting bigger. We have worked hard to build an agency where specialists can take ownership, collaborate closely and continue developing their skills while delivering work that makes a genuine difference for clients.
Being a smaller agency gives us the opportunity to stay close to the work. The people discussing a client’s challenges are the people thinking about the solution. Strategy does not disappear into layers of process, and our specialists can work together across disciplines when a project demands it.
That has helped us build long-term partnerships with ambitious eCommerce brands and deliver work across everything from Shopify migrations and custom development to conversion programmes and ongoing optimisation.
“We are incredibly proud to see WIRO shortlisted across all three categories. It means a lot because it recognises both the specialist work we do and the strength of the agency as a whole. The biggest credit goes to our team and our clients, who continue to trust us to solve complex challenges and help their businesses grow.”

What Being Shortlisted Means to Us
Putting together these award entries gave us an opportunity to step back and look at the work, progress and partnerships behind WIRO’s growth.
Agency life moves quickly. Teams are often focused on the next launch, test, migration or client challenge. Taking the time to look back at what has been achieved across the business was a valuable reminder of how much our clients trust us with and how much our team has accomplished together.
Being shortlisted alongside some of the best agencies in Europe is something we are incredibly proud of.
It is also recognition we share with our clients. The strongest results come from genuine partnerships, where we can combine our expertise with a client’s knowledge of their business, customers and market.
Most importantly, these three shortlistings belong to the whole WIRO team. Every successful project is the result of collaboration between people with different skills and perspectives.
What’s Next
We will be following the European Agency Awards 2026 through to the final results with plenty of excitement.
Whatever happens next, our focus remains the same: continuing to help ambitious eCommerce brands build better Shopify experiences, solve complex technical challenges and turn more of their traffic into long-term customers.
Thank you to the European Agency Awards for recognising our work, to our clients for trusting us with their businesses and to every member of the WIRO team who has helped make these shortlistings possible.
We’re proud to be shortlisted. Now, it’s back to work!
